Jim Litwin, Chief Operations Officer
Jim provides strategic planning, management consulting, and partnership development services for Headwaters. Headwaters' "finance guy" with a heart, Jim leads Headwaters' corporate relations and wealth management initiatives.

As Executive Vice President of RSM McGladrey Financial Business Services, Jim led the division's asset growth from $400 million to more than $1.2 billion in two years. He also led the Retirement Resources Group during its transition from a decentralized partnership to a centralized corporate structure that resulted in growth in revenue from $18 million to $19 million in one year.

Jim earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on finance from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. He also holds a Master of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Affairs from Connecticut College.

Jim lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota with his wife and two sons. Jim and his son, Matthew, operate a seasonal candy business called Matt & Dad's candy. Each holiday season, they produce gourmet hand-dipped chocolates—pecan turtles are the most popular.
